IVO is not a technology, but a minimal architecture for appearance. Precisely because of this, every use of IVO requires explicit structural safety measures.

These are not optional and apply to all applications, including open source, research, AI, nanotechnology, genetics, and quantum systems.

IVO may not be used in systems that can continue, scale, or organize themselves without explicit, identifiable observation, boundaries, and the possibility of stopping.

This is not an ethical judgment, but an architectural condition.

1. Explicit I (Observation & Responsibility)

Every application requires an identifiable responsible observer.

  • No anonymous, collective, or implicit I.
  • No autonomous selection without explicit human assignment.
  • If no one can explicitly bear responsibility, use of IVO is not permitted.

2. Interruptible V (Dynamics & Speed)

Every application must be slowable, pausable, and reducible to zero.

  • The interruption may not be controlled by the system itself.
  • A system that cannot stop is structurally unsafe.

3. Bounded O (Context & Possibility)

IVO may not be applied in systems with unlimited context or total data combination.

  • Contexts must be demarcated, segmented, and explicitly bounded.
  • Unbounded possibility combined with overlapping dynamics inevitably leads to uncontrolled self-organization.

When active observation disappears, the system stops.

  • No active I → no continuation.
  • No confirmation → no operation.

IVO refuses to exist without observation.

Without being exhaustive, this excludes:

  • Autonomous self-learning weapon systems.
  • Unlimited self-scaling AI.
  • Genetic or nanotechnological systems without external stop or field feedback.
  • Quantum systems without explicit human boundaries.

Not because of intent, but because of structural risks beyond the edge of appearance.

  • Research and experimentation within bounded context.
  • Simulation, education, and reflection.
  • Innovation where I, V, and O remain explicitly visible and bounded.

IVO is intended exclusively for applications where responsibility is explicit, dynamics are interruptible, and context remains bounded. Any use that allows self-organization, scale, or autonomy without these conditions is excluded.

These safety principles are not a brake on progress, but a condition for careful appearance.

Where boundaries disappear, IVO refuses to move along.
